Renovation Specialist / Maintenance St. Coletta of Wisconsin, a leader in providing residential, vocational, and educational services to adults with developmental disabilities, has an excellent employment opportunity for a Renovation Specialist in our Facilities and Maintenance Department! Our Mission is to ensure the people we serve achieve their highest quality of life and personal growth.
We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will help us continue to achieve our very important Mission. This position performs general construction, renovation, and other assigned tasks with a demonstrated knowledge of building trades, licensing and safety.
The hours for the position are 1st shift, Monday-Friday 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm with some flexibility. Full benefits package including paid holidays, 401(k) match, medical, dental, vision, and more! Essential Duties and Responsibilities : include the following.
Other duties may be assigned Maintains and repairs buildings, plumbing, electrical, heating, and worn or defective parts.
Exhibit a Broad Knowledge of Building Trades to include framing, general carpentry, masonry, window removal and installation, cabinet installation, tile and vinyl floor installation, plumbing, electricity and HVAC.
Perform General Construction and Renovation Demolition, knowledge of blueprints, architectural drawings, building trades, industry innovation, materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, building, or other structures.
Provide Superior Customer and Personal Service through knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
This includes coordinating construction with customer needs and timelines. Meet quality standards for services. Other maintenance duties as required include, but are not limited to, the following : snowplowing, furniture removal, light tree removal, tree trimming, and appliance removal / light repair.
Requirements : Five or more years related experience or a combination of training and / or experience Completion of a related apprenticeship program or trade certificate such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or plumbing is preferred Valid regular WI drivers license and a driving record that meets the organization's standards Ability to be self-motivated and work well independently Strong interpersonal and communication skills A desire to assist individuals with developmental disabilities and other challenges in their personal growth Our benefits include : generous PTO (3 weeks- this is accrued) over time);
